Navy 79-85, served on the old Midway CV-41(see my user name for refrence), after that Saipan LHA-2, wicked ship (lots of grunts).
I got my Navy Expeditionary during the Iranian hostage BS that Carter couldn't solve.  I got my Armed Forces Expeditionary for that fightin' communism in Grenada, a situation that Reagan did solve. To quote Hank Hill, "God, I miss voting for that man."

Now, many years later, i work as an officer of my VFW post and try to do the best i can.
