What do you guys  and gals  think? My first ever dinner pics, on this Memorial Day weekend.

Start with some Cowboy Natural Charcoal

Then a steak for the wife and ribs for me and the kids

The finished product. Ribs, broccoli, sauteed asparagus, sauteed onions and fiddle heads. Dammit I forgot to put the corn on the cob on my plate.

There is no rule about having a firearm on "Safe".  I prefer mine ready to go.
Ribs look good.
I do not know what fiddle heads are.

Fiddle heads are very young ferns that are picked prior to unfurling.

Look at this:

Now at this:

I'm sure you can see why they're called fiddle heads.

To be honest, since I had a beer, both weapons are empty and the AR has the bolt open, but it could have been on safe. The only time an AR can't go to safe is if the trigger has been released.

Damn, I thought I'l get extra points for the Gerber Mark I boot knife.

Dude,

Didn't eat alone. The reason I forgot the damn napkin and the spare mags and the piece of corn on my plate is because the family was looking over my shoulder waiting for me to be done taking pics so they could all sit down and eat. Having a pic of all the plates set out with all the kid's guns and the wife's weapons would be a large pic. Maybe I'll do that next time. Actually I think I will. Good idea, I don't think it has ever been done before. Expect it tonight.

They work awesome. One piece of news paper or a shopping bag ( that's why I don't like plastic, because I don't get any newspapers ) and 10 minutes later a glow of red hot coals, and no liter fluid.

Holy crap! Thanks for that link.

I have more than a few bags left and guess I will be sorting it before lighting it. Although I have never seen plywood and insulation I was not looking for it either. I will be on the look out for higher quality lump, but this is the only lump I have ever seen being sold around where I live. You just deflated my lump charcoal balloon

Don't want ARFCOM family members hurt... well, at least, not those that live on the right side of the tracks.
