Looks damn good.
I love the place mat! Guns look good and are in the correct places. Reloads, again looks good. You even used a real napkin, that's getting to be such a rarity anymore, bravo. The food looks excellent, when you said tacos I was thinking you were throwing ground beef into pre-made taco shell. Very well done, looks excellent. Picture composition is good, better than most entries here. You could have toned the flash down a bit on the plate, but we'll forgive that (this time). Everything seems to be going great here and then you take this beautiful meal and eat it on the floor! WTF? You almost had it, anyways 8/10. |

Technically not "on" the floor, but you're right though, probably shouldn't have been eaten on the coffee table. We'll try harder next time. |

It looked like it was on the floor, however I am incapable of giving a 10 so I will stick with the original 8/10.

Is that a mother fucking Glock place mat? Jesus christ that's good for 5 point alone! Can I get one for Beretta, or Springfield armory?
This dinner pick is pure simple win. Simple fantastic meal, good beer, utensils, great guns (a long gun, and pistol with reloads), and no extraneous bullshit (staplers, tape measures, protractors, etc.=dinner pic. fail). Easy to score, well deserved 10/10, but I want to give it a 15/10 for the glock place mat. Well done sir! |

9. Final presentation needs work. Its hard to make out what you got there. The pics leading up help out. Yeah, but they're tacos, not much you can do there. Just throw all the goods in it and take a pic was about the best i could do. That was the reason i took pics of everything before it went in. Point taken however, when i do another dinner pic i would certainly consider presentation a top priority, but for tacos it's kind of tough. |

How did you season the meat? I never thought of using a rump roast for tacos. Rump Roast. Seasoned with meat tenderizer seasoning, pepper, garlic salt slow cooked with onions and bell pepper. Sitting in the crock-pot for ~7 hours makes it tender and very juicy. If you don't do your own shells you're missing out people, it's friggin delicious! |

Sorry you had to type it again, I just realized you had already put that a few posts before mine. For the shells do you just fry up corn tortillas? Any other trick to it? |

Sounds good, I'll have to try that. Sorry you had to type it again, I just realized you had already put that a few posts before mine. For the shells do you just fry up corn tortillas? Any other trick to it? No prob. This is from my wife Corn tortillas at room temp. Very hot oil. The hardest part is the shaping of the shell. As you can see in the pic use a spatula of some kind. The oil splatters all over the place, be careful not to burn yourself. Then drain the grease off into a paper towel. And they cook real fast, they'll burn in the grease if you're not careful. And thanks everyone for the feedback, my wife really likes these dinner pic threads and was worried we would do a bad job. She's happy with the feedback |
