I'm in the market for a new insurance policy for my family of firearms. My current policy is probably sufficient. I just get a bad vibe from them, and I foresee problems in the event of that famously tragic boating accident. Here's what I'm looking for:
* Expandable Coverage * Coverage for Firearm Parts * Coverage for Separate Uppers and Lowes * Coverage for Self-Assembled Firearms My current insurer seems to be fine with standard, complete, manufactured firearms. Colt rifle? Sure. Smith & Wesson pistol? Of course. Self-Assembled AR-15 with a Stag Lower, Palmetto State Armory upper, Laure BCG, etc ... "Just tell me the manufacturer, and the MSRP. What do you mean, you built the rifle? I don't think we can insure that. Is that even legal?" You get the idea. Have you guys had good experiences with any carriers on valuable personal property policies? |
