I believe the explanation for the simple reason there was no bomb crater and I don't believe a bomb would result in so much interior damage, especially after the recent reinforcements.

In a few of my classes we have studied aircraft crash patterns, and by taking a good look at the photos, I have any doubt that an airplane hit the building. I'm no expert though.

Uh because planes are made largely of aluminium and alloys to save weight and that no matter how fast the plane is going flying it into reinforced concrete you wont have much but small fragments left which is what you had -- a damaged building and small aluminium skin fragments all over the place, actually the faster the plane is going the smaller the bits are likely to be.
