I am stuck well behind enemy lines, and My rep and senator will most likely vote to pass most any of the communist BS that comes up for a vote.

So my question is:

Can I contact the remaining GOP senators, not being a resident of their state and urge them NOT to vote for a new AWB?

Even if yours are a 'lost cause', still contact them (when the legislation begins) and let them know how it stands.

Encourge others to do the same.

You are right,  I will be doing so, and I should have articulated that in my OP.

But what about my original question?

Make sure your senators and reps know that they'll get a swift kick in the balls if they vote for that shit. Most of them will remember 94.

This is America, and you can pretty much contact anyone, barring restraining order, through a phone, or email, or the postal service.

They may not pay as much attention to it as they would if you were a constituent, but I doubt that it would hurt.  (as long as you are not a total ass in doing it
)

There will be no filibuster.

The dems plan on stealing the few still up in the air senate seats. They will have their 60, and even if a couple decide to vote know they'll have more than enough RINO motherfuckers flipping over for it to pass.

Jim fucking McDermont is my rep, and Maria Cuntwell/Patty Murray are my senators...

They have nothing to fear in this district.

But I will write them anyway.

Yes, by all means, contact your Senators and representative!

They will listen!  By 300-1 we let them know we did not want the stupid bailout that would not work, and only increase the severity of the fall!  I called all of mine every day, and sent them e-mails every other hour.

And as you can see, my efforts weren't in vain!  They did not pass that damn bailout plan, and the economy recovered on it's own, and on Jan 20th John McCain will be sworn in!

What?  that didn't happen?  Fuck.

I know how you feel, bro.  I hate the majority of people who live here in West Seattle.  McDimWitt errr McDermot is an asshole and most of his staff members are jerks.  I called his office a while back ago to ask him not to vote for the "ban on importation of high capacity magazines" - this was during the AWB.  The bastard who answered the phone was very rude and very argumentative, get in your face style.  I swear I'd punch him in his cock smoking hole if he was standing infront of me.

To answer your original question, though, I did contact other senators / congressman from out of state.  You are still the citizen of this country and those senators/ congressmen live on your tax dollars.  Make them work for you.
