Between my wife and I, we have 4 computers. Two Mac laptops and two PC desktops. There are 4 operating systems (OSX Tiger, OSX Snow Leopard, Windows XP Pro, and Windows Vista Business)
I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure out a way to keep our files on each of them backed up properly. Are there any programs out there that can sync multiple folders off each machine and keep them on a FAT32 external HDD, readable by either OS? I don't mind having one program for Mac and one for PC... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

For Windows, download the free SyncToy from MS.
For the Mac, I use ChronoSync. It's not free but it will sync to external drives or to folders shared over the network. MS also makes the free Windows Live Mesh for both Windows and Mac, and allows you to sync files between the two if you want to do that. |
