A note to all in the Three years that I have had my home mortgage with Fifth Third Bank the tax department has not gotten the taxes right from my escrow account. Today I got a note that my monthly payment would be going up $100 per month due to higher taxes. I checked with the local tax office to check the rate and found that my taxes had gone down. Fifth turd's had only made a $638. per year error, customer service is no help, they have to research the problem. This past spring they failed to send the tax payment and my home was posted for tax sale (untill my attorney) called Fifth Turd. So now I feel I must go through the pain in the ass of a refinance to stop the stress.
