Any recommendations for fanny packs to use as EDC? Ive got a Sig P365XL. I'm old enough that it wouldnt look out of place. No, I don't give a single flying fuck if it's gay or looks gay or not. I'm guessing white is a color to avoid? |

I like the Eberlestock Bando Bag and Bando Bag XL. I've got two of them and like them fair enough. I replaced the zipper pulls with paracord. The Bando Bag generally fits up a Glock 19 size pistol (P228/P229, Staccato C, P239, etc). | I use an SOCP fanny pack. It works well to hold my 43x, spare mag, and medications with a little room to spare. |

For minimalist, I really like the Spiritus Systems MK3 that I just bought. Otherwise, HPG is hands down the best, though. |

945 industries large. Can wear cross-body or as a Fanny pack. Has Velcro and comes with a holster that can be used as a belt holster if you want. Rapid deployment tabs do work, which is a boon over the other suggestions so far. Cost is roughly in line with putting together your own. The pull tabs are awesome compared to messing with a zipper. It's comfortable. Only thing that sucks is it can get a little sweaty being on your chest, but no worse than an IWB on the hip or appendix carry. No need for carry specific belts, dressing differently to stop printing, etc. Just throw it on and go. |

Im looking for a more "civilian" color scheme, something that doesnt scream "tacticool" or a color someone might more quickly associate with military or guns. As for the IWB suggestion Ive done it and its just not comfortable for me. Appendix was the only thing that felt ok, but the only time it didnt bother the hell out of me was walking around. No, Im not a GD Chad with a Tier1 body build. Yeah, shame on me.  @03RN @VoxLibertatis exactly what Im looking for, thanks! They have a nice blue that should be right up my alley. |

There's ample room for a G34/35 in the medium. Emdom's flavor is big enough for a G48/507K in the main compartment and rides lower which is more comfortable than HPG's food blister layout. With the G48 in the main compartment 5 S15 mags will stack horizontally in the front pouch

I first got an Alien Gear hybrid IWB, and then got some CrossBreeds, and had an epiphany of sorts, and never looked back. I initially always discounted the idea of IWB carry, thinking it would be too big, too bulky, uncomfortable or hurt, or difficult to use. IMO man was I wrong, and I'm thankful to have adopted use of hybrid type IWB holsters like the one Colt653 posted. Now I'll strap em on, and when I'm out and about I almost forget I'm wearing one. But again, all carry is good carry, please stay aware, and pursue your happiness.

I've got a couple I've picked up over the years but the one I use the most is a black Deuter. It didn't have a loop inside where I wanted one so I just used a piece of 1/2" webbing, poked a hole through one of the taped seams with a hot nail and riveted it in place. Now I've got a place to tie my trigger guard holsters. S&W Shield, spare mag, Snakestaff TQ and a 4" Israeli dressing fit fine and it has a pocket on the front I can also use. I usually wear running shorts when running or hiking/biking shorts while mountain biking and usually have a Camelbak on so the front bag carry works best with those type of shorts and carrying a pack; I toss my wallet, phone (if I bother to carry it) and keys in the daypack. Note, I don't wear one around outside of outdoor recreational activities, but it would work just as well for that. Tons of ways to skin that cat, just have to figure what works best for you. |
