Is there any way to detect if someone has access your page without leaving comments, likes ect?  I was just curious about that.

As far as I can tell I cannot know who has looked at my profile.  And yes I keep the info and pics to a minimum.

I know there is a plug in for Safari that allows you to look at all kinds in data on your FB account, for example, who has de-friend'd you, and when, and other things. That may help you..........

Worse I have some close friends of mine who post way too many pics of themselves, against my repeated advice by the way.  Now at least one is worried who might have gone on an oline safari through those pics.   Yup, I know its stupid to post so many in the first place.

If there is a way, I would like to pass it on.  It just might knock some common sense in.

I doubt it.  I know facebook won't let you see page views.

If you're worried about Firesheep, just never use an open access point.

(from Facebook's FAQ)

Facebook
does not allow users to track profile views or see statistics on how
often a particular piece of content has been viewed and by whom. Third
party developers, however, may offer applications that provide some of
this functionality. Please keep a few things in mind when using these,
however:

  1. Applications cannot track profile views for
users who simply visit another person's profile. Facebook has made this
    technically impossible.

  2. In order to be tracked by an application, you must explicitly agree to allow the application to access your information.

  3. Adding
an application that provides this functionality is purely optional. If
you do not want to participate, please do not add the application to
    your account.

Interesting

Thank you for the info, and a lession to everyone, do post every fracking picture and detail of yourself on FB and pass the word on to others.  Sound advice to practical adults.  Now try telling that to a completely out of control spoiled 21 year old lady who knows it all.  (My friends daughter)

PS I close friend of mine has a 16 year old, otherwise well behaved and mature for her age also has the same pic problem.  At least her pics are all apparently G rated.  Not so with the first, R rated in many instances.

Facebook DOES have a feature that allows you to see how your page is viewed from the POV of another individual.

For example, I could view my page from the POV of my younger cousins, to see what they would see on my profile.
