I just thought I would post some pics of our campout.

The boys hiked 20 miles over 3 days in the Uwharrie Nat Forest.

We had a good time(except for the rain) Im pretty proud of all of them all.

Pics (my kids only)

awsome hike!

So when are you going to strap a chute on them and give them a nudge out of a plane?

My oldest(14) is doing a AFF jump (accelerated freefall jump, 10,500FT) for his 16th birthday.

And getting a Car too.

Awesome sarn't!

Your kids will never ever forget that kind of adventuring with their dad.

A gift that cannot be measured in dollar terms, as mere money cannot purchase time with your kids!

Dram out

Those kind of hikes are things that stick in kids minds their whole life when they think of Scouts.

A guy I work with is a troop leader, and takes the kids on a 3 day canoe trip in Northern Maine every year.   Wish I'd had him as a troop leader when I was a kid.

That said- here's my favorite Boy Scout joke-

When is it time to go to bed at a Boy Scout campout?
When the big hand touches the little hand!

Keep him away from the Car, you know as a service member that they are way more dangerous than jumping out of a plane!!
