Comer and Grassly have had a complete copy for about a month now. All they are doing is going through the motions to smoke out the FBI's treachery
The FBI has known since the beginning that they had the complete copy. The kabuki was so state-sponsored media could pre-feed the rubes with a narrative that this means nothing. And yes, there is no reason for a unclassified document to be contained in a sciff. Especially if the FBI has redacted. You is tryin to tells me that an unclassified document that the FBI has scrubbed has to stay in the sciff? Come on man. |

They need someone in leadership that absolutely doesn't care about the fall out. That person should send official word to Wray that if he doesn't deliver the document in front of the committee by close of business Monday that he will be taken into custody by the US Marshals and held until the document is produced. No SCIF or any restrictions on the unclassified document should exist. The treatment given to the J6 folks should be the guideline for how this is handled.
Since no one wants to follow the law, that should work both ways. |
