Hello, Can anyone recommend a MS Exchange hosting company. I host my company website with a company and they have good service; price, support, speed, antivirus and spam filtering etc. I would like to take advantage of the group calendars, contact folders and remote access to ALL stored email so i thing I need to run an Exchange server but I don't want to administer it. If you know of any sources let me know. Thanks, |
I am running\hosting\colocating a similar situation right now for a small company. The catch is, 99% of the people use OWA (Outlook Web Client) if they want the group calandar features or just standard pop/smtp if just using mail, and the very few (<10)that do use Outlook over RCP are forced to VPN in. I agree, RPC exposed to the internet is suicide. Roptics: RPC is Remote Proceedure Call. It's a protocol that Microsoft loves to run all kinds of things over, which coincidently theres also a new bufferoverflow/virus for every week. |
