I just sold my '03 Honda 400ex ATV

I needed money to help with some of the start up costs of our business.  So we decided to put the Honda in the paper for sale.  Put the ad in the paper yesterday and sold it today.  A whole 12 hours later.  I was happy at first but as it was being towed away Claire said it was kind of sad.  That's when it hit me.

So, although I wanted the cash, its gone now. But sort of a bummer I guess

I sold my soul to the devil for a NFA lower.  The bastard never delivered, so now I've got the sellers remorse, and not even anything to show for it.

I sold my T/A the other night to US Army soldier who is on leave and rode a Greyhound to DFW and I picked him up at 2am!  He is a really cool guy, I am glad it is in the hands of someone who appreciates the vehicle - he calls me now and then to give me updates and stories....he called when he got home and was impressed by the ungodly amount of power it has....

It was a super-fast, bad-ass machine with custom engine, etc.  It will be missed.

'47 Luscombe - threatened to buy it back a week later, replaced it with a '48 Cessna 170 a few months later.

Traded a Beretta 1934 pistol for an A-5 - regret that, too, and haven't traded a gun off since.  Lost a bunch boating, however; very sad.

Married in 1997:

Sold a 95 Ext Cab Z71 Chevy w/less than 20k miles that was payed for.  I had a company truck so I hardly ever drove it.

Sold a Stainles Submariner Rolex

Both went towards a down payment on a house but I still regretted it for a year or so.

A 1917 Erfurt marked Kar 98 "Trench Model" Mauser in near perfect condition. Bought it for $110 and sold it for $180. Needed the money sorry about it as soon as I sold it. Couldn't touch the same rifle now for less than $275 or more.

They are rare and the value should increase the longer you own it.  I never even shot it and I sold it before I realized what it was worth.  The real sickening part is what I sold it for

Colt AR-15 24" HBAR SS.

But I have more guns now that I like.  I don't think really heavy ARs are much fun to shoot.
