Sliced, wrapped in paper towels, and microwaved.

Tastes like it's fried. Yum.

Any other fans of SPAM out there? (enter junk mail comments now)

I like it.  Never tried it nuked before though.  Fried or just plain out of the can, add a little Velveeta and all is well!

Uh...yeah, it is. It's quite good, too. I wouldn't want to live off the stuff for weeks on end, but I view it as a treat.

The Hawaiians love that stuff.  When they come to the main land, they are surprised that we see it as dog food!

Slice it about 1/4" thick and put a couple of pieces on a paper towel. Nuke for about 90 seconds. Good stuff.

Try it on a sandwich with grape jelly.

Yep,  Hawaii is one of the biggest consumer of Spam in the US even though the population is very small.

When I was a kid we didn't even get "real" Spam, we got generic spam stuff, I won't even go near the stuff now.

I eat it at times, although I wouldn't want a constant diet of it.
It's a good stockpile item, but I tend to go with the low sodium version of it.

I've got nine or ten tins in my SHTF stash, all regular though.

I, too, like the stuff but woildn't want to eat it on a regular basis.

Spam & eggs kicks ass.

Fried Spam sandwich w/cheese rocks also.

OK.  I am now getting hungry.  I don't think I can wait for dinner.  I may have to go to the store and get a can to hold me over.

A couple of nights ago on Mail Call I saw R. Lee Ermey shoot a round from a .55 caliber Boys anti-tank rifle through a can of Spam.  That was funny, but he felt guilty about it so he's going back to watermelons.

I finished my last can a couple of weeks ago.

Usually I slice it and throw it on the bread with Miracle Whip. I like it same way but fryed too. But I can't ususally wait that long. [:D]

Time to watch the sales tags at the grocery store. [;)]

Love it diced into small cubes and fried and then put in an omelet with cheese. It does taste different when it nuked vs. fried.

On white bread with cheese and mayo with a slice of fresh tomato. Yummy!

Actually better than the can of tuna with lemon pepper and some crackers i just had for lunch.
