Buddy of mine is selling an EOtech which has written on the side "For military/law enforcement use" Does this make it illegal for me to use? I live in cali-ban if that helps. It does not say "military use only". So I figure it wouldn't be a prob. The model is the 556 A65. Thanks for the help :)

No, They all say that and are available OTC from hundreds of retailers.

But if you remove the laser warning sticker hide your dogs.

Thanks for the info, just picked it up last night! I just looked at their website as well, no warning that it can only be sold to LE or .mil. My fear is having to ever explain it to an over zealous Barney. Laser warning is gone already. I would think that its the equivalent of removing a tag from a mattress at a store. Leave it on until you buy it.

It's so you can look cool to people who don't know any better.

It's like cutting the tag off of a mattress.

Peel off the sticker and clean up the adhesive residue with a little "Goo-Gone".

Problem solved.

You guys make things so complicated.  Sheesh!

Or like said above - you can send it to a ceritfied disposal center for proper handling. I happen to be certified
