Can someone please explain exactly how trading equipment on the EE works.........I understand that the firearms have to be sent to an FFL dealer when trading with another user, but how do you go about being able to inspect the firearm, condition, etc, before allowing the trade to go through?.....btw.....I'm asking this question for an arfcomer that got himself banned a short while back so flame away, he'll see the results. |

If you want an inspection period, most sellers won't go for that unless you paid shipping both ways. Even then I would imagine they would just find someone else they would sell to.
I've bought a few firearms through this site and the sellers have generally been very good at accurately describing the condition/history of the gun. You can always ask if they're willing to send you more pictures of the gun. |

You have to go by a sellers discription and pics. I've bought and sold a few things over the years and everything was better than described. I've never had complaints from folks buy'n my stuff either.
I would simply pay return shipping and reimburse a buyer if they were'nt satisfied. |

Buy from someone with good feedback or ask them about what you are buying.
I bought an upper a while back and the receiver was an unknown manufacturer. The seller, once I questioned the quality of that unknown receiver sent me additional close up pics and said things that make me know it was GTG. I think I got a GREAT deal on it. IOW trust your gut. |

I think hes considering trading his DPMS .308 on a 6.8 system of equal value with another member and he's worried about getting shafted I guess, since its not actually going to be from a dealer but another individual. This brings up another thread topic....how can he get another account on ar15.com....lol....gonna put up the new thread real quick......I dont like feeling like a secretary. |
