Yes, but only if I also responded in the ad itself. Some people will accidentally IM or email people who've responded in the ad, thinking they are actually sending it to the original poster.

Yep. I checked my IMs that morning after making some offers and was like Who The Fuck is this guy. I didn't IM him.
