At the prices they charge for the pants I may go Back to Wrangler Riggs.

My riggs pants are not standing up like they use too.
My one pair of fire hose pants are holding up fine.

At least all but one of my Duluth items were bought online so I have a record of when I bought them.

The Riggs still have a lifetime warranty whatever that might mean with them.

When I got this email earlier today I thought about posting it in the Brownell return thread.

Good.  I don't want to pay extra so someone can abuse their warranty policy.

Yep.

Thankfully I've never had to use it. My firehose pants and cockroaches may be the only things to survive a nuke strike.

Yea the high price is to cover the replacement.

They might have a more durable product but not quite up to the price without the extra backing.  JMHO.

I have a t shirt and some cargo shorts.  Not heavily invested.

There was a shitbag faggot team member here who openly admitted to sending his pants back every year when they wore out. I honestly don't remember the thread or who it was or I'd post his name here.

Are you surprised?

I used to buy ballroom jeans.  The last set I bought the zippers were shorter and the front pockets seemed smaller and had trouble getting stuff out of my pockets with my penis size indicating massively large hands.

I switched to another brand, gusseted crotch, made in the USA, after calling and making sure of pocket size and zipper length.

You really think they're going to lower their prices? LOL

L.L. Bean did the same thing.
Too many people abusing the guaranty.
They find stuff at yard sales and return the item and resell it on ebay or other sites.
It sucks

So they're dropping prices to match the lessened warranty?

They make good stuff.  I never even needed to use the warranty and I've bought a bunch of stuff over the years.  Still wear them daily.

Bit pricey but some of the stuff is hard to find elsewhere and I've tried.

I was going to try to get pants there for my sister since I heard pockets are deeper and she wants to get into carrying more gear.

It's really hard to find deep pockets for woman.  Anyone have a source of pants without going to the tac pant route?

That's fucked up.

I've only sent in one pair of pants that started ripping earlier than they should, though they still outlasted the five sets of Carhartts I've got. Ordered a new coat, shirt, bibs, and another set of pants at the same time. That's the real benefit of their warranty; dudes send in worn-out clothes for replacement, and order new clothes at the same time.

Their heavy-weight flex firehose is damn impressive.

There’s a retail location 40 mins away from me, 5 mins from my range. Ive probably returned/exchanged more items in the last 6 months than I have in the previous 4 years of wearing their clothes.

A lot of their sizing is inconsistent. Not just between different styles of shirt or pant, but between the exact same items made at different times or in different runs.

Another issue I have with them is their sizing after clothing has been washed. I exchanged 2 shirts because after after I washed them, they turned into damned belly shirts. I have 2 more of the same shirt that fit just fine.

They still make good stuff, but IMO they’re priced about 25% too high without the lifetime warranty (especially since most of their clothes are made overseas)
