Never seen them live but DKM rocks

Seen'um.  Good band, lots of energy.  I also saw "Street Dogs" in a tiny club in Boise. Street Dogs lead singer is Mike McColgan who was the original lead singer for DKM.    They were an even better live band than Dropkick Murphy in my opinion.

Great group of guys. They hosted a fund raiser when one of our guys got killed in the line of duty back in April.

I've been a huge DKM fan for a long time although the last two albums were IMO not so hot.

If you like DKM you should check out The Street Dogs, this is the original singer from the dropkicks band.

Flatfoot 56's newest album is friggin' awesome. "Pay Me a Dollar" is my driving to work song.

Also out in the NE area check out The Killigans.

the meanest of times(their new album) is somewhat of a letdown IMO...  black out was much better but nothing compares to Do or Die.

They lost it completely starting with Tessie.

The last letter home was dedicated to Sgt. Farrar whom was KIA in early 2005.  He was a huge fan and I believe they played the pipes at his funeral.  There was a special release single out with procedes going to his family.  I was in his Plt for a while in Iraq, he was a good man.  Semper Fi.

Do or Die, Blackout and Sing Loud, Sing Proud are fantastic. SL, SP is probably my favorite album.

I like thier new stuff. It's different though. All bands mellow with age. They're in the popular music stream now. Might as well make some money.

I would definately like to see them live if given the chance.  The closest thing that I have seen to them live was the Pogues and that's not really close at all.
