Since last week, the powers that be are not holding back at retaliating on anything not politically correct from their point of view. Yes, it's their prerogative to do so, but in the past opinions were tolerated. Now not so much. Wait till they ban Browning logo's from trucks in the NASCAR infields because it's a hate logo.

I wonder how the contract reads. Maybe he'll sue em like he (supposedly is) Univision.

I was surprised that they had Trump on at all, considering he's everything liberal douches hate.....including being a declared conservative.

Glad NBC doesn't like free speech.
P.S. Don't be a tard and say free speech doesn't apply to a private entity. Free speech is a natural right. The 1st Amendment says that the government cannot restrict that right although the 1st Amendment does have application among private parties. |

Other than the "assault" rifle thing, I'm having a pretty hard time hating anything I hear him saying. I'm starting to wish he were a viable candidate.
Hell, I've got ugly hair too. |

"At NBC, respect and dignity for all people (but don't wave the rebel flag) are cornerstones of our values," the company said in a statement on Monday. "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."
Then, in a statement a few minutes later, he (Trump) elaborated: "If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court." |

Someone needs to make a meme about this.
Spin it to say NBC hates America and other nationalities. |

Trump likes the Canadian single payer system.
he is a Democrat. |

Beware the Government/Media complex.
His freedom of speech may not be constrained by big brother, but his speech (thus ideas) are being constrained by big brothers friends. That straight forward style resonates with people, and we can only have that if its on big brothers side. |

Donald Trump is about money, just like Soros, Koch, Oprah, Gates, etc. etc.

Jeffrey Immelt was the CEO of GE.
GE was the parent company of NBC. Immelt left GE to become jobs czar working under Obama. |

Probably a publicity stunt. He president now you know. View Quote This, he went in knowing picking a fight with NBC/Univision would end this way. The Apprentice had already jumped the shark, and this way he can go out with a bang. NBC/Univision is probably thinking the exact same thing. The whole "There's no such thing as bad publicity"-mantra. |

It has become socially acceptable for liberals to retaliate against conservatives, but conservatives can't do the same to liberals. My question is this: If a conservative black person criticizes a liberal white male...who is being racist? |

It's been years since I have watched anything on NBC,fuck them.
|
|
I Don't know, before Donald seemed like he was going to run for office and never did. My guess was he was just trying to boost interest in his shows during contract negotiation time. My guess is that is shows were all on their last legs. I haven't seen the apprentice or Ms Universe in YEARS...I didn't know they were still on. IF their rates where good, my guess is that the Network would have enjoyed the free press. When the ratings are poor, the Network saw an opportunity to unload a poor performer. Remember Pee Wee Herman, rumor at the time was that the Network had someone follow Pee Wee, looking for an opportunity to get out of their contract. Which he gave them. |

So, nbc sticks with proven liar brian williams and breaks ties with Trump for telling the truth. I guess telling the truth isn't important to that network and their 'news' people.

Better that than simply the desire to preside over the thoughts and actions of others, which I'm convinced is what drives the vast majority of politicians anymore. Near as I can tell, there ain't a damn one of 'em doing it because they truly want to do what's right for the country as a whole. So he's rich and wants to get richer. Good for him. |

Dumb move. The Apprentice got decent ratings. What shows do they have? I'm sure Trump will create a new show on another network.

And they'll start their coverage by blanking out half of the screen during most of the race. Fox was able to keep the NRA logo off the screen a few years ago at Texas, but the entire infield covered with campers flying old Dixie and then the Browning truck is going to require some serious editing. I think everyone who watches the race ought to call and threaten to sue every time those "offending images" make it on the air just to make their jobs harder in the interest of screwing them as much as possible. Plus there might be legal hush money to prevent a lawsuit that you could use for buying a new gun or more ammo. And you could send NBC a thank you card with a photo of your purchase. |

When is NBC's license up for renewal? Maybe Trump will start something.

Call him a sideshow if you want but Donald Trump may wind up earning my vote. I am a Cruz guy, but as the Donald keeps fighting for America I am hopeful he will pull other candidates to more conservative positions. Gonna be interesting. He does not have to play the game sitting politicians do.
Dude is fighting...the rest lay down. He already told Univision to get off his lawn. |

Ehhh, their playground, their rules, right? It's their business and they're 'freemen' so they should be able to fire whoever they want, as long as they're not being discriminatory.
My theory is is that he did it on purpose because he's ready to back out of the presidential race for X, Y or Z reason and this was just a way to do it with a little panache'. He's now got a lot of 'street cred' with the rebel flag wavers. Yee-haw. I've watched The Apprentice (& Celebrity) since season one, so in an odd sort of way, I like D.T.. I'll miss him. Chris |

And this is how the elite establishment demonstrates by example that it has the power to censure anyone.

Those with ISIS mentality (liberals) strike again. Tear down that statue! Burn that flag! Silence all blasphemous speech we do not agree with! Ban Ban Ban.
Could you imagine the reaction if a conservative owned network fired anyone who made a PC statement? I don't give a shit about Trump, but I am getting tired of liberals being allowed to say the most stupid, hateful racist (anti-white) drivel, then when someone that is not in lockstep with their ideology they are to be silenced. The modern day liberal is truly more dangerous than the Nazi of 70 years ago or the ISIS fanatic of today....in the end they are of the same mindset. |

Secular =/= socialist/progressive/liberal. You don't have to be a god-in-govt. type in order to be a conservative. That fallacy is going to kill the GOP. I'm against increased taxes because I believe that we have a spending problem. Until the spending problem is directly addressed, I'm not willing to vote for more taxes because that money will just be doled out to entitlement bitches. We need to plug the holes first, THEN figure out how to dig ourselves out of the hole. But no spending reduction = I'm not voting more taxes. Period. Because I don't trust Washington to follow through on jack shit except lining their own pockets with money and power. |
