I was talking about polotics the other day with my mother.  She and my father are old school Democrates but almost always vote republican.

SHe asked me if I was always a republican.

I replied:  "Why yes, and actually I was quite stunned when I learned you were not mom!"

She just laughted and said she tought I had very liberal views when I was young man, and is rather surprised at just how conservative I am at times.

She isn't disappointed.  But I think that she just kind of figured that since I was "kinda wild" in my youth that I would be liberal.
