This is NOT a bestiality thread
I have a 3 year old Golden that is a just a goof ball. I have a shower tub with a curtain. I'll be in the shower enjoying a nice hot shower when suddenly I'll feel the back of my legs being lick, I'll turn around and its my damn dog is in the shower with me Then I get out, he rubs his face all over the carpet...Its kind of funny. P.s. It pretty easy when he get muddy, I give the command "Lets take a bath" he jumps in the tub and sits down Gotta love Goldens |
I probably had the only golden that was terrified of water.
Couldn't get him near anything bigger than a water bowl. My other golden on the other hand didn't give a shit and was perfectly happy laying in mud puddles with just her head out of water. |
One of mine used to do that when I had a shower with a curtain, wouldn't actually get in would just stick her head in and lick the back of my legs.
My dog gives me looks of disdain, as if he were trying to say: "Dude, you don't have to shower, I wont tell mom....come on, hop out"
Border Collie liked to poke his head in and lick the water. Well, until he tasted soapy water, then he went away.
My border collie is allergic to clean water. Nasty pond water? All about it.
My beagle hates water but will jump in occasionally to drink the hot water.
My dog runs and hides under the bed when the shower comes on. We've thrown her in once too many times already.
Can't say that I have.
Had a bulldog visit me once who stared at me whenever I took a leak. That was reeeeeealy creepy. |
My golden jumps in the shower any time she hears gun shots outside.
Not my aussie, it takes 3 people and a cattle prod for that dude to get a bath. My wife's Yorkie will climb in with her all the time.
That's how I give my healer a bath. Open the door, call her name and she comes right in. She sits up on the shower seat and I give her her bath. Super easy way to bathe your mutt.
My Rottweiler on the other hand, if it's over her dew claws or not 50% dirt, she ain't getting in. |
I would say he's cleaning you.
Natural instinct. But your legs taste bad... |
My labtard loves water, but hates being confined and bathed in the shower. Pool water and mud puddles are more his style.
My Maine coon cat does. He'll use the shower curtain like a rain jacket. His feet get wet though. He is crazy.
Wife's yellow lab will get in with her. The other two dogs won't get anywhere near a running shower.
We wash ours in the shower. Of course, they weigh about 8-10 lbs each.
If anyone runs a bath in the tub, we have to keep the doors shut or the Jack Russell jumps in.
Every day, seems to like licking soap off my leg. Last lab did the same.
Goldendoodle did once when he was a puppy.
Dog now LOVES water, but will not get in the tub for anything. |
Jump no... but if I say... you want a bath then she runs into the shower...
My cattle dog loves the shower. His shampoo is right next to mine.
My mutts will poke their heads around the shower curtain to see how everything's going. They follow me everywhere.
My American Bulldog/Pit Mix loves the shower.
Its just another reason why he is the perfect pet. He's always clean and nice smelling. :) |
Not willingly. My little guy has seizures and I've put in the shower with me to bath him after he loses bowel control. He does OK.
Plus on duck hunting trips I've showered with my dog when decided to "sugar roll" before leaving the area. |
My Pup doesn't have her eyes open yet, mom is Border Collie, Aussie, and Blue Tick Heeler, dad is 100% Aussie. I have a sneaking suspicion my days of being alone in the shower and the house in general are coming to an end.
My Yellow Lab does not like water. She'll ride in a boat, but on the shore of a lake? She just stands there, doesn't even get a drink. She will reluctantly take a bath, once I wrestle her into the tub. Then she'll just sit there being all Sad Wet Puppy.
I fostered a Black Lab though, and yeah, lock the bathroom door if you didn't want a 80lb hyper-ass shower partner in there with you. |
Once in a while my Rhodesian will poke his head in with a "WTF?" look.

I have a heeler.
Where I go he goes. If I shut a door he head bangs it till it gives. Biggest cock blocker I've ever known But I love him more than life itself :) |

My border collie will crouch outside the shower stall and lap up the water by sticking her tongue under the door. Does shower water taste better than regular water or something? I figured she was seeing it as a game, just a fun way to pass the time. |
We have a walk in shower.
1 of our mastiffs has walked in several times. |
One of my Abyssinians used to stick their head in and lick water.
Our goofy dog gets in right after someone gets out
We have a cast iron tub and i think he likes how it stays warm, and drinking the water drops |
One of my labs will stroll right in the walk-in shower. Running or not, she doesn't care.
Anything water, anytime. Labs |
