I use it. I have 4 pages of apps so it's easier to spotlight search then search for it on my own. It's also good for searching contacts and email.

Rarely. Only to search contacts and email. I don't keep enough apps and shit on the phone to need to search those.

just picked up a 6, and used spotlight to find some stuff.
maybe used it twice ever on my old phone. |

Used it quite a bit in digital forensics.
There was a version of IOS where deleted texts would still show in spotlight as they weren't properly cleaned during the deletion. Don't know if Apple fixed that or not yet. |
