The press hasn't been "free" since Randolph Hurst. It's been controlled by liberal rich folks ever since.  We read and see what they want us to and we're too stupid to figure it out.  At least most of us...

The internet is the worst possible thing to happen to the liberal press.
Freedom of the press? Absolutely.
Integrity of the press? Fuggitaboutit.

Well, considering the liberal view that modern military weapons weren't considered by the FF's when writing the second I really have to wonder whether or not freedom of the press pertains to television and radio??

Former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan: “I think the media and the Democratic Party spent the 1990s saying, ‘None of this matters. You can do anything to women. We’ll beat ‘em up, we’ll put private eyes on them....’”
Time columnist Joe Klein: “Wait a second!...You can beat ‘em up?”
Noonan: “As a matter of fact Bill Clinton was literally charged with that. He was charged with worse things than, than Arnold [Schwarzenegger].”
Klein: “He was charged with those things by lunatics. He was never legally charged with that.”
Noonan: “Whoa! He was charged by Juanita Broaddrick. I don’t think that it’s fair to call her a lunatic.”
Klein: “That? Yes, I do think that she was an extremist.”

LOL, Bill Clinton clobbered Dick Morris when Morris refused to devote more time to his first presidential campagain. When I say "clobbered", I mean he jumped him, threw him to the ground and began swinging.  I'll find the link soon.
