I made a post a while back about iguanas, but I think I may have to settle for a turtle. I simply don’t have the room and probably time to tend to an iguana right now. I was thinking of getting a box turtle or maybe a red eared slider. Does anybody here keep turtles as pets and have any suggestions? I was thinking of building my own habitat to be kept indoors, using wood and maybe chicken wire for the walls, and a lined plywood bottom.

I will look for a breeder in my area, but I may wind up going to a pet shop.

why do you want a rock you have to feed and clean up shit after?
they are not even fun.  


if you want a fun turtle get an alligator snapper.  
They are hell on wheels.  Feed it gold fish and watch it kick ass!
