Gen 2. Based only on price. I have piles of both, and don't notice a difference while in use.

I got some GEN 3 from a long ago placed back order.  Haven't had a chance to take them out of the package yet.

I like them about the same. If you get them from the right place there is only a dollar difference in the price. No option for both equally , so I chose gen 3.

I have both and are about the same to me. I picked Gen 2 because I have more of them.

I have no idea what the difference is.

Does it feed cartridges into the rifle?  Reliably?  Yes?  Then I'll use it.

Don't do it, that will kill the value.

Both work excellent. Even better when lubed with a liberal's tears..

I do not have any reason to poo poo the Gen3s, but the Gen2s are were 99% of my experience is. There is a comfort level with that.

I only have Gen 2's, and I've never seen a Gen 3 in person, so I have no means of comparing the two.

i like the G2's.  that's all i've got and all i buy.  i've compared the two and i dont see any difference in them.  then there's the price difference.

Which generation are these?

Whatever they are, I have plenty of them and they work fine

I have both, and they seem to work fine as expected.  I'm a little perturbed that there isn't more interchangeability.

I must say, the floor plates on the Gen 3's seem a little less robust to me....though I'm guessing it won't be a problem for anyone.

I have never personally seen any fucked up gen 2 mags so I can't justify the higher price of the gen 3.

Have a good friend that spent time overseas and he said the gen 2 pmags were what he preferred.

I am not allowed to own Gen 3  so I chose Gen 2

Poll is fail.  No option for "both" or "Equal".

I have mostly Gen2s and am getting Gen3s when the price is on par.   I prefer whichever has ammo in it.  So maybe I won't like either of them in the not too distant future.

If I ever run out of USGI mags, I'll buy some, but it's going to be a while, a LONG while.

I do like the .308 Pmags though.

I have Gen 1, 2 and 3...but haven't used the Gen 3s yet...so I can't tell ya.

The pop off tops from the Gen 3's won't snap to the bottom of the mag..WTF over? How will I not loose those things now?

My gen3's seems a little harder to seat into the mag well than my gen2.....not sure why, they just are. They go in and all, just not as easily.

Having actually over-inserted a Gen2 once during a 3-gun match, I've dumped most of my Gen2s and converted to Gen3s.
