state in which you apply for a CCW? Example is that I have a place in NY and a place in PA. My liscence was just changed to PA which will soon be my primary residence. Can I apply for a NY CCW with my PA drivers liscence before I permanently move to PA? The reasoning behind this is that I do a lot of work in NY, so that is where I would like to be able to get my CCW, if possible. A PA CCW should be easier for me to get, but it won't be legal in NY. If I remeber this correctly you need to be friends with God to be able to get a CCW in NY. I doubt you would be able to get a CCW in NY with a NY liscense let alone one from PA.[uzi]

I have some experience with the NYC CCW process...It was not possible for me to get one because I didn't make enough cash to satisfy the very biased prerequisites, so I did get the next best thing. I was approved for a Target only, along with my younger brother, which is no good any more because I do not live in NYC. My work is in Westchester county most of the time, with usually one or two days/week in the city so it would be in Westchester county that I would want to apply. I keep an apartment in Westchester county, NY, and also a small town house in PA. Maybee I will try to get a PA CCW first then try here. Thanks a lot.
