When posting on the ARF's I tend to see people posting "<––––––––––––––-" when they reference themselves within a post.  No one has the long time love for the top banner posting style normally called Vertical Format?

I don't know what it's called, but I use the format where the <––––––––––––- points somewhere other than my avatar. It's up there ^

Old school!

I hated the 'avatars on the side' when I first switched to it, but I prefer it now.

Just changed mine to the avatar on top to check it out and it sucks huge donkey balls.  Avatar on the side wins.

My avatar is on top, but I always do the <––––––––––––-
