What’s going on folks? So do you folks have your Thanksgiving smoke in order yet? I’ll probably stop over a friend’s house around noon and sip on a nice beverage while we smoke a cigar. Not sure what I’ll smoke yet, but I’m leaning towards a Diamond Crown. Diamond Crown cigars seem to be my go to smoke for holiday’s.

What will you folks be smoking/paring it with? Hope you enjoys have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving!

Hmmm. I hadn't thought about it. I did pick up some Diamond Crown and Maximus recently, but I also have some Fuentes, Padrons and an LP that I might go for instead once my parents leave. It will make a nice change from the Bradley 2nds and other affordable stuff I've been smoking lately.

Not sure, maybe an undercrown or a MUWAT, haven't tried either one yet and I've got both aging in my coolidor.

Either a Liga #9 or Kristoff GC Maduro

Can't really go wrong with either.

Oh yea.....with lots of beer and turkey...I foresee many naps in my future.

Since I just found out that my son is coming for a couple of days while traveling between duty stations and the fact that we have not spent thanksgiving together for the past 5 years I will enjoy a 10 year old Opus X Belicoso.

Best wishes to all.

Bird 3

And.....a '26 #2

ETA....

The '26 was awesome and now bird #3 is done.

Resting then to the carving board.

Family is all but gone.
Kids are in their PJs.

This last bird is getting quartered a right into vacuum bags for later.
I figured while I had the oil out and bubbling, might as well get good use out of it!

The wife wants a cranberry/orange adult beverage and I have my eye on some Port.
Also looking at a 09 Liberty or a Triple Mad for later since my belly is really full.

Tasty too...

We completely wiped out the first one and then killed half if the second.
The third was boned out and put in vacuum seal bags for later.

I had plans to drop a bunch of curly fries but the oil didn't look like it could take it.

It was still a great day for frying turkeys.
