Is an AR-15 an AK-47? Fock NO! Cereal is Cereal. Oatmeal is Oatmeal. Now...both are breakfast foods. As both AR and AK are assault rifles. Does that mean they are the same thing? No.

Cereals are: Rice krispies, Co-Co Puffs, Captain crunch, Golden grahams....Etc. Co Co wheats, grits, and oatmeal ARE NOT cereal. lol..... PO-TA-TO or PO-TAT-O [:)]

Oatmeal? Absolutely a cereal. Cornmeal is a cereal product, but not cereal in the breakfast sense.

hmmm... in case Raven's definition wasn't clear enough, here is what the Merriam-Webster Collegiate edition has to say: Function: noun Date: 1832 1 : a plant (as a grass) yielding starchy grain suitable for food; also : its grain 2 : a prepared foodstuff of grain (as oatmeal or cornflakes)
