Im in my late 30’s have never been married, no kids, sold a business after I was focused on that. Did I fuck up “the one” being gone all the time and deciding a bottle was more important. Sure did.

It’s been a few years and I got my shit together and gave up the booze (it was going to kill me). I was a selfish prick and have to catch myself every so often still. The dating pool is interesting and I understand I am anomaly which I would see as a red flag. A lot of these women bring nothing to the table and want all these things. On the flip side there are of course good women out there. The whole Lindsay Clancy thing brought out some true colors of people and I am taking a break from dating.

I always said I did not really want to have kids (or get married for that matter) due to seeing some crap I rather would not have, turns out I was just scared I would mess that up to. I believe we are meant to have a family, I truly believe that now.

🤷🏼‍♂️ I think with all things YMMV.

They raise her to be a strong independent woman and no man is good enough.

Never heard the term until now and yes it's nonsense. But the definition I'm seeing is a person who has moved beyond the need to prioritize financial concerns.

So you have so much money that you no longer have to care about it. The amount varies by region.

Since she is in silicon valley, there is no way in hell she is talking about someone with a net worth under a million.

It doesn't bother me that she has these standards. The problem is this person she requires does not exist. And if he did; he could do better than her.

Men and women are different.

A woman’s fertility starts dropping as she turns 30 and accelerates from there.

All “muh equality” and “muh feels” in the world won’t change this basic biological fact.

Equality is a false god.

And why do you care so much about that?

Evolution. Darwinian natural selection. Progeny. The first commandment God gave fallen man. All pretty significant reasons for fertility to matter in mate selection.

Not sure what sort of religion you have to adopt for that to not be obvious.

Except she's not talking about the definition you found.  Her "still hardworking" caveat tells you that.  It's apparently a commonly understood Silicon Valley term:
“Post-economic”

It’s a term I’d hear a lot in Silicon Valley.

It refers to a person who’s moved beyond the need to prioritize financial concerns in their decision making or lifestyle.

Economic considerations are no longer a constraint.

There’s not really a set number, it just means money is no object to them, and they live their life accordingly.

I personally think it’s as much of a state of mind as it is number.

Can mean $5M, or $500M depending on lifestyle and priorities.

In real life these things don't happen much at all
It's too bad we all live the dream

The real problem is the ambiguity in the term. You think this man doesn't exist because you've assigned a meaning to it. You very well could be right. You may also be wrong. The post-economic terminology is odd. I work in a similar market on the West Coast and this is the first time I've ever heard the term in professional or dating circles. Maybe it's the polite way of saying she's looking for a guy that's loaded. . . . If she's a silicon valley tech exec (at a real company not some inflated title startup) then maybe she's just looking for parity.

Look, yes, I have banged HUNDREDS of broads. INTERNATIONALLY. But know this - I wrap my rascal, TWO TIMES, cuz I like it to be joyless and without sensation. It's a way of punishing supermodels.

It’s a weird thing internet think has glommed onto because it can be framed in sciency terms. I assume the guys that have been harping on this the past few years either didn’t have kids in this timeframe or possibly didn’t even DATE women in this timeframe. I look at my parents. My mom was 24 when she married my dad and didn’t start having kids until they were established 4 years later (read: able to support a family without leeching off the government), a year shy of the supposedly spent girl in the OP, and 38 when she had my little brother. Both parents worked. No worse for wear but somehow detestable because it didn’t happen between the ages of 16 and 22, tHe PeAk AgEs of FeRtIlItY! There is optimal and there is reality. Reality is, beyond the bossbabe nonsense, two parents working and waiting until they are established financially is the reality in the financial world we live in unless you want to live on government subsidies. You can blame women for entering the workforce and competing for jobs with men, wage growth and the middle class was actually gutted when we offshored our entire manufacturing base and anything else to chase quarterly earnings.

That is correct but starting at 30 husband hunting is the precursor to dating, engagement, the deed [wedding] and usually the honeymoon period unless a rich smart man decides to throw all caution to the wind and do a 3 month date and marry scenario, and rich smart men don't tend to do that. Most of the list is reasonable other than the "post economic" and "healing path" gobblygook.

More people should be honest about they want so they don't have to count on luck.

Caring about health is a good one.  Lots of people turn into blobs after marriage and it really limits quality of life over time.

You can blame women for entering the workforce and competing for jobs with men, wage growth and the middle class was actually gutted when we offshored our entire manufacturing base and anything else to chase quarterly earnings.

Not sure what sort of religion you have to adopt for that to not be obvious.

Three kids going on four, aiming for six to seven. Take your "everyone saying this is childless" nonsense elsewhere.

Peak fertility matters a great deal, just because one woman here and there is able to have a child late in life doesn't make it a viable plan, many women reach the age they finally decide to bother having children and simply cannot get pregnant, or have countless miscarriages.

The evidence is also impossible to ignore that pregnancies later in life have worse outcomes. Increased rates of defects, failure to thrive, autism, and countless other issues.

Failure to advocate for pregnancies during peak viability is the same as advocating for more babies in the NICU with heart failure and other issues. There are consequences to denying biological reality, consequences that carry harm and suffering.

As for "it's not eeeecoooonomiiiically possible" thing, nonsense. It is expensive to have kids while Keeping Up with the Joneses. None of that shit is actually required. Purposeless burning of money with children being socially "required" is actually a fertility suppression strategy implemented by cutthroat women, so their offspring have fewer competitors.

One of the benefits of knowing someone who worked in match-making, (one who herself was and is a hardcore feminist), it dispells the tiktoktard myths.

The more money he has, generally the less interested he is in her money, moreso if it comes with strings attached now because she believes she's Steve Jobs.
The tough part boils down to, of these wealthy people with good jobs, the female clients want to date the male clients, but the male clients really aren't all that interested in the women.

"The men had types, the women had lists."
As long as the men weren't having their time wasted (ex: if he likes tall blonde women, do not bring him frumpy brunettes, and vice versa), they were easy to work with.
No shit, listening to the women is what made them quit the job.

''She's crazy.''

Liberals are a curious mix of communism and fascism, they want to destroy you but want to use your own money to do it.

I'm getting down to the last box, the others have all been destroyed...

That's the paradox of successful women.  Their success is of little use to a successful man, and usually of negative value to men.  An unsuccessful woman that focuses on things money can't buy will beat them to the successful man almost every time.
