Mine is in the middle of the room, not directly over the bed along the wall
Yes but only over my feet. Don't want to die of the fan death.
Too hard to install a ceiling fan with my wall to wall ceiling mirror.
The fan above our bed has been running for 4 years straight.
How about a mirrored ceiling and a disco ball above the bed?
My room is 24 ft wide, Fan is in the middle of the room, and my bed is against one of the walls. So I guess it can get my toes cold, but it's not really over my bed at all.
Yes, in every house I've lived in. If I bought a house without one, I'd be installing one within a week.
Box fans. Easier to replace, no chance they'll fall and whack me on the dick.
Fan in center of room, bed offset, my left foot could be in danger zone.
Live in FL and have Hunters in every room in the house. In this state, ceiling fans are not optional appliances, they come standard...like refrigerators, washing machines, lawn mowers, and generators. You could own a home without them, but you’d be wrong. |

Middle of the room.
I love having it, makes the air feel so nice. |
I noticed on hgtv, most of the houses they renovate, they go with some sort of accent light or chandelier instead of a ceiling fan
Whirling, spinning, death from above , secured by a .50 cent bolt. The person who assembles the fan over your head gets minimum wage,
and probably is or was under the influence when assembling or installing your fan. Not a worry about a fan decapitation in your sleep or during some other activity. In truth there are greater threats to life and liberty. |
I wouldn't have a house without ceiling fans. A remote controlled fan for my bedroom is a must.
Hell yeah, in the summer it keeps me from having to bottom out my thermostat to sleep. I cannot sleep if I’m hot and sweaty.
I have one in the living room, none in the bed room. The one in the living room is awesome.
I have an apartment, so it is what it is. |
I do, although I consider it a bit of an earthquake hazard....
I do, and a few years ago the metal support broke, the fan dropped down and was spinning around the room. No one was in the room at the time, but it was low enough to smash your skull. It was also on low so it was wasn't running around too bad.
Every ceiling fan now requires a heftier unit now that provides better support. Ceiling fans are a requirement for any house and I use them...but not in the bedroom. |
No Center Cieling Fan, but we have a box type fan in our room on at all times.
Yep. Every bedroom. Only rooms with-out are kitchen, bathrooms, and dining room. I don't run the bedroom fan though - it dries my eyes out overnight.
Yup. My gf is 1 of those chicks that always is hot. The fan originally there really wasn't all that great in the first place for moving air, so I Google and googled and the fan I have now moves 8000 cfm
The 1 in the living room looks just like it but it moves 9k+ cfm . She never complained about the fan after that. Plus it makes drying the tile alot quicker |
One in every room in the house. All self installed, so I'm confident they're not gonna be falling down.
Hell, I've got two ceiling fans in my master bedroom. The only rooms that don't have ceiling fans are the closets and bathrooms.
I didn’t until 3 days ago, just swapped out a light for one.
It’s nice |
Yes, and if I weren't in a rental I'd tear it out. I hate those fucking things.
