Either pre-wash the dishes better (kind of defeats the whole purpose of a DW doesn't it) or get a new dishwasher. Just bit off on this problem myself. The older cheaper dishwashers tend not to have a rotating wand under the top basket and just use the blast from the lower basket, and voila, if your bottom rack has a bunch of really cruddy ones on the bottom you end up with that crud on the top. Ended up buying a new stainless steel dishwasher that is low-noise and only uses $24 of water and electricity per year (so the tag claims). |
