I just want to give kudos to Dish Networks customer service. We started having a problem with our DVR / receiver a couple of days ago. System would freeze up and the DVR would jump and skip when watching a recorded program. I used their online tech support last night in an effort to fix the problem. It only took a minute or so to connect with a tech via chat. After explaining the problem I was having with the equipment, the tech said they would send out a new unit. No charge. Said I could expect the new unit in a couple days via UPS. And they would also send an RMA with the new unit for returning the old unit. From log-in to log-out, the whole contact lasted less than ten minutes. I was prepared for a fight after hearing a few horror stories about their customer service. I was pleasantly surprised at how Dish quickly and easily resolved my issues. |
