www.elcansportingoptics.com/intro.htm Looks interesting....but I cannot say much about it...what do you all think? I have seen similar spotting scopes and binoculars, but nothing even close to this except on videos of our troops picking off bad guys from a helicopter... |
Ok mr wildebeast hold still while I enter the range and then my new hi-tech scope will put a reticule on you so I can shoot you ![]() More crap to fail in the field, 4hr runtime, they don't even list the price for this pos which is good cuz I don't want to know. Heck even if this thing did work and was used for hunting I think it would take half the fun out of it. No skill required to be a hunter now, just input your rifle/cartridge data into superscope, enter range to target, put crosshairs on target and pull trigger. Go home and upload kill shot to pc next to digital pics of the family lol. They go play w/your playstation or maybe even play deer hunter on your pc my .02 Blackops_1. |

"Ballistically Corrected Reticle The scope automatically positions the scene so the shooter can hold "dead-on" at the estimated range to the target. The shooter inputs "zero range", "bullet data", "rifle data" into ballistic software, then downloads it to the scope via USB port. Then before the shot, he quickly and easily inputs "estimated range to the target" using the scope mounted key pad. The scope then positions the scene (positions the crosshairs) so the shooter can position the crosshairs at the desired point-of-impact. This allows the scope to compensate for the ballistics of the bullet/rifle combination rather than the shooter having to do it. " Theres a point where shooting is no longer art but science. This is that point. I myself prefer arts to sciences. Still a neat little idea though. |
