Hehe... I commented to my neighbor today as we were filling up a few of his 5gal cans for the generator, "you know it's bad when you say 'wow, gas is only $2.69 today!'"
Of course, this is after paying in the $3.50 range trying to get home to Louisiana from Memphis a week or so ago. --Mike |

The price of oil has dropped from $71 to just under $64 in the past week or so. Refineries in the Gulf of Mexico have started back up.

It's awesome. Goes up $1.00 in one day, but takes a month to drop $.50.
But hey, we're not being fucked.

I wouldn't think they refine OVER the ocean, but only pump it.

Probably a scam to lead us to believe that $2.68 is a great fucking bargain.

The scam is is to get the overall average price to $2.20-$2.40
Remember last summer when it was at a record of $1.79-$1.89 and we we all shitting. I would love to get it back to that. |
