Funny story about Sal Mineo. Once dated a lady who was a film lover. Somehow got on the subject of Sal Mineo, and I told her that in every film he was in, "Sal always got it". IOW, got killed in the flic Couple of days go by, and she calls me. "RAF, I watched the movie "GIANT" the other day. and I thought of you. (No, not that way); the movie had Sal Mineo in it, and the story had him coming home from WWII. I thought "RAF was wrong about Sal, he made it!" She paused and sighed. "Well, he came home, alright, in a box." We both had a good laugh. |
