There is no way this can be used in a nefarious manner, becasue this has not exited for the last few years now... CA is too busy trying to be the trendsetter for dumb laws....

My last two Iphones had kill switches.  I could erase them remotely if they were lost.  So the technology has been there for a few years.

Buy the government would never use it against anyone.

Well except for the devices they already have that can render any cell phone in a targeted area inoperable and set them back to their default factory settings...
