heard a few days ago that the demo party is calling on its members to get off the gun control wagon because they were losing alot of fence sitting democrats. Since we have a repub pres, house and senate they are figuring that they won't get anything thru anyway and they can now appear to be ......non..anti-gun. This way they can pull the demos back who have been voting repub because of the gun issue.
I was just over at democratic underground and its amazing (OR SHOULD I SAY ...A MIRACLE)that so many of those democraps now own guns and don't want to take them away.
We need to get this info out to everyone that this is just a ploy to try to win back some people. Keep everone informed.

Haven't been posting over thier lately. Just reading the idiotic posts. Was posting under "Government cheese" but they banned me.
I did hear on a conservative radio show that the democraps want to get off gun control because it kept them out of the white house this year. Look for this ploy. I'm tellin ya, they're gonna try it.

The site is boring, being it only covers limited politics. If you don't agree with them you're deleted.
The socialist democRats have realized they are loosing political ground and will do anything to recover it. Don't be fooled. I'm waiting for the Swine to sprew filth about her pro-gun stance. They'll weave themselves back in and then promote more anti-gun politics.

I have been sending letters to the Democratic politicians in my area warning them, that I am a Democrat, but currently vote Republican because of their attacks on the 2nd Ammendment.
Gore lost his home state because of the NRA.

When They Knock Down Your Front Door, How You Going To Come? With Your Hands On Your Head Or On The Trigger Of Your Gun?
Bassist Paul Simonon-The Clash |
The issue of gun owner's rights isn't only on Republican's minds. It's also a very important issue to many Democrats. Of the people I know who own guns, half of them are registered Democrats. It was a Democrat girl from Texas who got me interested in shooting in the first place. My "Liberal" friends are Democrats because they feel strongly about environmental issues, but are 100% in favor of the second ammendment. You can't go blaming all the bad things in life on Democrats. Think about how many Rebublicans you might know who may own say a revolver for home defense, but don't go to the range, and worry about their kids being shot, so they vote in favor of every gun banning bill that comes up. I personally know two Republican families that do just that.

Thumbhole,
I understand what you are saying, but the Democraps are using gun control as a political platform. I don't think the republican platform cares all that much about the issue either way but figure if they appear to be progun , they'll pull the gun owners to thier side. I don't expect to get a great deal on guns from the repubs but voting for the demos is gun rights suicide.

Hi guys,
There was an article on Newsmax.com a few days ago talking about how some conservative Dimocraps are urging their party to drop the gun control issue.
Here's the link so you can check it out for yourself.
