http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=80833&page=1 Maybe this is not the best way to solve things - but I am not currently email capable -AAR I would email GB and complain but I guess I will have to take it to the people. gj has made a mount for the TA01NSN ACOG to adapt the rear ghost ring to take the Tasco Optima 2000 - the idea was to create the perfect GP battle sight out of the ACOG - a red dot for CQB and the ACOG reticle for longer work. I sent my ACOG down to gj and he fasioned two types of mounts - then posted the pics and was wondering who was still interetsed in the idea. The topic was then deleated w/o warning gj started a topic titled "Hey Duffy Some ARSS Deleted My Post" - which was then addressed by DonR and deleted for percieved violations of the new AR15.com code of ethics (a non annointed member offering servies to non-annointed members) gj started another thread with DonR's responce and wondered where to go from there? I added more thna my .02 - but it appears that gj has been locked until he and GB can reach an agreement. Sorry but this chicken shit has got to stop - there were no flames to the mod's no nudity/profanity etc. |

... Well that stinks, you guys put a lot of hard work into that cool project and in fact I was in line for one as well. ... My TA01-NSN came in yesterday and was really looking forward to more data on the neat mount for Tasco Optima or even Dr. Optics. ... I too, would like a good reason for the deletion! MERRY CHRISTMAS |

Apparently if one is not a direct sponsor of AR15.com one may no longer mention goods or services in any forum expect on the Equipment Exchange. Which is Okay - I mean this is GB's site so we have to live with his rules - but removing the pics and all of our correspondnec of whta we wished to do with the sight? My though was that if the mod(s) in question thought gj was breaking the new rules - he should have been warned - not arbitrarily deleted then punished for questioning the deletion. I noticed that someone offering mods' to the RX01NSN in the lights and lasers forum was not censured. [soapbox] |

... What was so upsetting about this was the fact that it was an ingenious project spawned by a real necessity. This was an area that was not addressed by the conventional AR15 accessories suppliers. … It was generated by the good people at AR15.com for the good people at AR15.com Some guys with half a brain conceived this idea and others even pitched in during its conceptual design phase. It wasn’t marketing at all. Only thing I can see is that if all the R&D money was to be captured (which is how these things work DonR) it was completely fair to discuss “ballpark” figures for such a project. I think this needs some SERIOUS reconsideration for un-deletion. |

Yes, area integrity" must be enforced at all cost. Mod's, please move this post to the Optics forum where it belongs. Then move all of goatboy & anti's Black Rifle Convention posts to Meeting & Events. Then move all the gun related post out of general discussion and into General Firerms Discussion. |

If they turn on the mod-bot, I'm in deep trouble. At some time recently, I was in the GD forum and mentioned a firearm. Guess there's nothing left to do but fall on my bayonet. |

I responded to this in the optics forum where the conversation belongs and was started. I love how you guys like to drag shit through the mud to garner support and start trouble when NOT ONE PERSON, emails me or tries to work it out. I grow weary of the games and bullshit. If this is so important to you, I expect someone to email me shortly.
