Me and the wife went and seen it today. Worth the $4 per ticket even the non matinee price of $7.50 would of been worth it. But the $4 bottle of water,$5 small cokes and The $5.50 small popcorn or the $13 large popcorn and large coke is why i prefer to wait for the dvd. There was a total of 6 people in the theater this was at the 2:30 showing. |

Quoted: I d say 80 percent true to original. I was still disappointed in it. ![]() Bridges is no John Wayne. He did a pretty good job in it but over all it was meh. Eta: they cut out some of the Chen lee dialogue making it a little more pc. That kinda pissed me off. Please don't tell me that they cut the scene where Rooster says "Mr. Rat! I got a writ here says you're to stop eatin' Chin Lee's corn meal forthwith. Now it's a rat writ, rit for a rat and this is lawful execution of the same. See? He doesn't listen to ya.' BANG! And then Chin Lee say "Outside is place fo shooting!" And then Rooster says "I was servin' some papers!" |

Quoted: Lee Marvin could kick John Wayne's ass. HA!!! Noob. Won't be seeing this. An abortion of a remake. Can't make better what was near perfect. Should clarify, the Coen Bros can't remake what is near perfect... Heck, even the Academy had to recognize how awesome the original was. Il ike Jeff Bridges, but no John Wayne is he. Two many remakes at a time says I. |
