Yup, Ive seen it and had been aware of it prior to reading it.  

As has been said many times before, slavery was a major issue even at that time and sufficiently divisive that they had to strike that section of the draft in order to get southern colonies to ratify it.  The same issue came up in the Constitution.  Anti-slavery language had to be stricken to win support.
