I was trying to roll my bucket of bullets into the house when this little fella came walking my way, as if I pissed him off or something. Walks like a wasp...... WTF is it?

Looks like some kind of hybrid bug. Grasshoppper and crayfish.

The first bug looks like a crawfish had sex with a beetle grasshopper or something.....the second, well, I think I'll have to look in one of Carl Sagan's books to find its home planet.....

(ETA - Bastiat had the comparison right, guess I need to read more before posting)

We have some weird ones in Florida too. We have one that kinda looks like a Mole Cricket but has a LARGE set of mandibles and fly-like eyes
