Personally, I'm an OEM guy but for those that want to try out a battery grip without eating a bunch of money, this is a decent deal.  Just remember not all cameras were designed from the beginning for grips, so some are plug and play, others need the battery door removed (easy) and clip in that way, plus a cable connecting to the camera body, etc.

Might not be perfect, but it'll at least let you try one out on the cheap.  My OEM grip (without batteries or extras) was $300 or so.
