| Good deal but we never had much luck with battery life when it came to DeWalt at work. They went bad/wouldn't hold much of a charge quite quickly. We ended up dumping the brand entirely and going with Hilti. |

Holy fucking shit OP! Thank you! Got 4 new batteries, an SDS and Cutoff Tool for $198! Thats like $800 worth of stuff! I have 2 5ah and 2 2ah batteries ive been using for a decade or two. This is a huge update with the newer 20v batteries. Big big deal for me, as I have 9 of their other tools already. |

Especially with these older style batteries. They probably have a metric fuck-ton of them to get rid of to get everything over to the newer powerstacks. |

I went Milwaukee, but I got my oldest son started on DeWalt when he started trade school. They're both great tool manufacturers and both have great tools and a few not so great tools. |

Welp, just upgraded my brushed circular saw to the brushless version. About the same performance, but longer battery life from the compare vids out there. |

Lowes seems to be doing the same thing with Craftsman 20v stuff. I went in there looking for another charger and battery for my trimmer and leaf blower. Guy at the tool area said the 1/2" chuck drill with battery and charger were $59. So I ended up with another drill for pilot bits. I've been thinking of upgrading to Dewalt 20v stuff as all my 18v goods are 20-25 years old now. They still run good. |

The 60v 9 amp ones were a different story, multiple failures, but DeWalt did replace them. |
