HD was having a sale on the Dewalt 60v blower kit and the 60v trimmer kit. (tool, battery & charger) just a few weeks ago. Each of the kits were marked down to just above $200, and that included a 9ah battery. The 9ah Flexvolt battery alone retails for ~230 or so. That wasn't all, if you bought either of those kits, you got another free 9ah flexvolt battery for each kit purchased. So, I got the two 60v yard tools, two 4 amp chargers, and four 9ah batteries. After the mil discount and tax, it was $421 otd. That's what you call a sore dick deal (<---hard to beat). |

True, but then again, I'm not one of the cool kids. When I start a thread, for anything, it usually dies a quick death of isolation. Buried deep into the bowels of GD, never to be responded to again....

Scratching my head- I picked up a fishing kayak and I have seen references where folks have used a step down adapter on DeWalt 20v batteries to 12v to run their fish finders. Anybody that can do the conversion on 20v down to 12v aH? Trying to figure out if it’s worth it or just snag a small 12v |

Thanks, OP. I picked up a pair. I made the Milwaukee jump a while ago for new stuff, but this will keep my 25 year old Dewalt 18V tools working with the 20V->18V adapter, of which I ordered a spare: Run new(er) 20V batteries in your old 18V Dewalt tools |

I found what might be a better deal...also at Home Depot - it comes with a 4AH and 6AH batteries plus a charger for $89. $9 more than OP's deal, but comes with higher AH batteries AND a charger. The sale on it started today.
