What should I get to recover some files on a win 2k system? They aren't anything critical important, just some drawings I use to build models that I lost.

OP, MAKE A CLONE OF YOUR DRIVE BEFORE YOU START RECOVERY and use the clone to recover the files!
Do not use the original media.
Trust me on this one.
