There is a gun shop nearby that I normally don't go to( it's out of the way).
I thought I'd go there since it's been a while and check on some ammo prices.
Low and behold, a Sig P220 in the used case for $400!
One of these days I'll learn to leave the Visa at home...

I bought a yugo SKS awhile ago just because it was on sale for $100

I got it home and realized I have no urge to shoot it or even own it. It's a big, heavy, ugly beast that shoots a mediocre round from a low-capacity fixed magazine.

Yes, that's the main reason I bought it. Gonna try it out tomorrow, see how it shoots.
I also have a G21 and 2 1911's for comparason.

They rock. It will probably turn into your carry gun, and you will want a P245 for backup.

Just got back from the range.
Brasspile, you were right. It kicks ass! It's an old one, the front sight is part of the slide, but it is DEAD ON. No malfunctions, shooting 185 & 230gr, about 200 rounds worth.
I'm going to put some Hogue grips on it, the stock plastic slips a little in my hands.
Very happy with it.
