Christian Bale had to lose weight for a movie role in The Machinist. He got down to 120 pounds to play a character described as a "walking skeleton". Bale said to lose the weight, he didn't eat. Here is a link to the "making of" video.

The guy who played Idi Amin in the 70's movie about him, had to gain a bunch of weight. He spent six months eating junk food and drinking beer all day. I can't imagine. |
